Chimneys

Chimneys

Description

A chimney pot is a cylindrical or tapered extension placed at the top of a chimney stack to safely increase the height of the flue and improve the draft for fire combustion. Usually made of terracotta, clay, or ceramic, they have been a staple of British and European architecture since the 19th century.

We keep a mixture of reclaimed pots here in the yard. Quite often these are bought as garden features as well as their traditional purpose.

Stock is quite fluid so what is seen in our pictures may already have moved. Please call office with any questions.
